About the Event
This is the first official event for the Coachella Valley Surf Club and our founder Dave Hilts. The wetsuits and surfboards will go a long way to make the students' surfing experiences more comfortable and give them more board time. At present, they travel to Huntington Beach to learn to surf (a very long drive with chilly waters in winter). The Easy Valley Board Riders are eager to see the the development of wave pools in the Coachella Valley and actively attend city meetings to advocate for surfing in the desert. For more information about the event, ride-sharing or helping transport the donations please contact Dave Hilts at dave@coachellavalleysurfclub.org or use our contact form. We hope to have press at the event to record the enthusiasm we have for surfing. You can learn more about the East Valley Board Riders in our Wave Blog.
